How to convert image to Grayscale

commands:

for only black and white colors.
#convert image.jpg -monochrome image-bw.jpg

If you would add color brightnesses than
#convert image.jpg -colorspace Gray image-bw.jpg

For pure mathematical black&white image
#convert image.jpg -fx ‘(r+g+b)/3’ image-bw.jpg

That’s all

convert image.jpg -monochrome image-bw.jpg
